Power & Media: An examine into Historical Art & Modern Media
Together with Mahan we were exploring power structures in art. It was some interesting excercises where we in smaller groups tried to interpret artwork before and after knowing the story behind them. We tried to figure out different kinds of power that could exist, for example in the painting ”Saturn devouring his son” by Goya made us reflect on the power of fear, the power of taking and giving life and the fear of losing power.
Mahan is working mainly with the promotion of human rights and humanitarian principles through education. He loves art and to analyse the paintings.
